Bader Way

reigniting a fighting spirit
When staff hit a slump damaging a wing in the crash, they’re often reluctant to take to the air again. Skill alone is not going to help you cut it but a strong mental resolve will stand one head and shoulders above their peers. No-where was it more evident than in the astounding life of Sir Douglas Bader.
Injured in a flying accident prior to the outbreak of WW2 and having both legs amputated below the knee, he was one of the first to enlist when the Luftwaffe rained down bombs on London. Proving the naysayers wrong, he fought against the system finally being given command of a fighter squadron. He took the battle to the enemy in his Spitfire wearing two metal prosthetic legs.
We’ve devised our program in his memory. Attempt it if you dare.
